Outsourced Contracts Department

Working with UAE Contracts is easy, you send us PDF pages from your tender or contract in strictest confidence, we review them and advise you on risks at tender or on how to safely manage the contract after award.

We can create a day-to-day management system for you to operate yourself, or we can operate it for you, part time,  on a retainer basis. If you are facing a problem, we can advise you how to constructively deal with it within the contract so as best to manage your way out whilst avoiding disputes, penalties, damages or other losses.

If you are facing a claim or wish to make a claim, we can advise you on the best ways to structure your documents to maximise your entitlements and to ensure least risk of claim rejection.

Why recordkeeping matters

Paper carries more weight than a story

Anyone who has been involved in a formal dispute will tell you that it does not matter what really happened, it all comes down to the paper records each party has and the story threaded through them. Any pleaded case not evidenced is, at best, speculation in the eyes of an arbitrator or judge.

If you diligently maintain paper records, you can generally prevent legal action being brought against you and can show a litigious party that it is not in their interests to bring action. Settlement prior to expensive legal action is commercial sense in almost all cases.
